Every ~2500-4000 rounds I'll detail strip it down to the last nubbin to clean, inspect and replace parts if needed...give it the love that would make Saint B. smile. WebMar 31, 2024 · Re: Marlin 336 .30-30 I have not own one but I have two winchester 94's and my friend has a 336 marlin. The Marlin was a lot nicer than my winchester. Compared between the two the Marlin is a much better gun. The action is smoother, the edges are rounded where as the winchester is sharp and it just fits nicely into your shoulder.
