We report two experiments. Webfrom contemporary conceptions of cognitive science, we see diis cognitive hierarchy as focusing on that part of organizational activity concerned with the nature of knowledge widiin the organization, "its components, its sources, its development, and its deployment" (Gardner, 1987, pp. 6-8).
