I rebuilt the engine to stock specs with an RV cam - nothing overly aggressive. Added an Edelbrock 4 barrel alluminum intake manifold and Headers. Web02/12/2024. The unit I installed has been running +30kms daily for the last 90 days right through a Northern Ontario winter. Grounding with EFI systems or any automotive electronic system is very important. Im looking into fuel injection for my 496 stroker BBC. I found FiTech selling some kits for almost too cheap if that makes sense. After doing some reading I have found a few positive reviews.

Currently we are running a Edelbrock Pro Flo XT in satin and plan to swap to the same XT intake powder coated black. A part that cost $1000 should not continuously fail. Failed in 6mo.
