I think personally the ShivWorks blades, especially the newest 2.0 iterations, represent good value but even we get people bitching about paying a hundred bucks for a knife made in China. Web28 Aug 2024 · Knife blade gets covered with kydex from the sheath which is pretty unacceptable to me. Knife rattles in the sheath. I am not a fan of bead blasted blades. I would rather have seen a stone wash or even a satin finish instead. I think the Spyderco Reverse, co-designed by Craig Douglas from Shivworks, is a superior knife for the money. WebShivWorks has a product called “Clinch Pick” specifically design for using the knife for self protection. The device is extremely practical and lethal which comes in a small and concealable sheath. This blade with its easy access design may be the best backup to your pistol if its not accessible while in a scuffle.

Basically you stab it in and use your strong back muscles to tear it out. The edge in blade cuts on the way out.
