WebbPontryagin’s Maximum Principle is a proposition which gives relations for solving the variational problem of optimal open-loop control. In general that is a non-classical variational problem which allows treatment of functions and constraints that are beyond those considered in classical theory, but are very natural for practical problems. WebbThis paper gives a survey of the various forms of Pontryagin’s maximum principle for optimal control problems with state variable inequality constraints. The relations between the different sets of optimality conditions arising in these forms are shown.

Webb9 dec. 2024 · This the problem could be reformulated to something that could be solved partially using Pontryagin's maximum principle. For this one would have to extend the state space by one and add constraints to that state. This then allows you to write the original problem as a nested optimisation problem Webb15 apr. 2024 · And my goal is: Theme. Copy. x (t_e)= (x_e, 0) I set up my cost function: Theme. Copy. I couldn't find a well defined algorithm for the Pontryagin's minimum (maximum) principle, and I have no clue how to implement this in matlab, but any help would be great! iat offense
